Clean Break officially began in Thomson, GA, when four friends were challenged to a "Battle of the Bands" competition. After sweeping Thomson, GA off of their feet and winning the talent show, they continued practicing and playing music together, progressing from small open mic nights to legendary venues such as the 40 Watt.
